One of the many reasons I love running is that it constantly reveals inner strengths. Congratulations on the strong finish :)

If your no good, bad day run yields 2:44 - then achieving 2:20 in the St.Louis R&R Half Marathon in October is completely doable. Hmmm..St.Louis in October..what's the temp like?Skyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10587221015278009955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6067895785335598652.post-71934185689703992732012-04-19T14:59:12.908-07:002012-04-19T14:59:12.908-07:00So proud of you, Sooz! (I don't care if that's how you spell your name or not - that's how I'm spelling it.)

When I ran my marathon - which I did *not* run the entirety of - I felt many of the same things you expressed here. You go girl. My only goal was to finish -to cross that line with my head held high and no shame in my accomplishments. And when I did, I was crying (and hiding it behind my bright orange plastic sunglasses, thank goodness for those).

I'm incredibly proud of you - not specifically because of what you did or how fast you did it - but because you're incredibly strong and you're continually showing that to the world. Keep it up. Wish we could run together!@MbernadetteEhttp://twitter.com/mbernadetteenoreply@blogger.com
